President of Sales and Ops
Mathew Leggett is the President of Sales and Operations for Anchor Floor and Supply Co. Mathew was born and raised in Florida and into the flooring industry through three generations. Throughout his professional career he has been able to garner knowledge and can relate to the various levels that make a successful project.
With over 16 years within the industry, he has worked with several manufacturers, sales professionals, installation technicians, general contractors and environmental service technicians. The knowledge acquired from years of work, has provided him the ability to anticipate the needs of his customer which in-turn provides a smooth flooring installation for all levels involved. Mathew has been recognized with various awards for sales accomplishments. His most valued award is one that recognizes his Integrity.
When he isn’t working, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, good food and a little Bourbon.
Carolyn Lyell is the Office Administrator for Anchor Floor and Supply. Carolyn came on board when Anchor moved their office from York, Maine to Longwood, Fla. At that time, Carolyn helped set up our Anchor Supply store as well as Anchor’s Home Office. Carolyn’s job responsibilities include doing job estimates and taking orders for Anchor’s Sales Department, researching and ordering products and handling day-to-day operations.
Carolyn started her administrative work in Maine with New England Telephone Company. After one too many cold winters, she decided to move south and transferred to Daytona Beach with Southern Bell. When the company split she then went with AT&T in Orlando where she was an executive secretary to Ed Janowsky and his team. While in that position, she wrote a manual to help organize the day-to-day operation of running a smooth office and using computers efficiently. The manual was used for all Executive Secretaries.
Territory Sales Manager
Cathy Urseti is the Regional Sales Manager for Anchor Floor & Supply Co. She oversees the State of Florida and serves as liaison to Vidir Corp., manufacturer of the bed lift systems. This is just one of the many products that our company offers.
Cathy is a veteran of the United States Navy, stationed in Guantanamo Cuba during the Vietnam era. After her service, she went into nursing where she had a successful 20-year career.
Things changed 4 years ago when Cathy relocated to Florida to help care for a family member. From there she was hired by Yorkshore Sales & Marketing where she developed skills required to the run a warehouse – procedures, policies, shipping, receiving and inventory.
After 2 years, the owner developed Anchor Floor & Supply Co. where Cathy was hired in a sales position to sell the Vidir bed lift systems as well as supplies to construction companies and hospitals.
Without a doubt it was her dedication and hard work that got Anchor Floor and Supply off to a great start. It was her desire to excel that got Cathy to where she is now, a valuable resource to the company.
Territory Sales Manager
Samuel R. Urban is a true professional. Known for his hands-on work ethic in business development and supply-chain and a focused attention to detail. Outside of work, he regularly visits local farmers markets and meat houses. He enjoys cooking and attending CrossFit classes throughout the week, as well as playing basketball and golf. Sam also enjoys spending time with family and friends and watching various sporting events.
Gilberto Cardona is the Warehouse Manager for Anchor Floor & Supply Co. Gilberto was born in Puerto Rico, is fluent in both Spanish and English and has an extensive background in construction. His understanding of construction and warehouse operation has made him an asset to Anchor Floor and Supply Co. He currently oversees all facets of warehouse operations, logistics and fleet maintenance. Outside of work he can be found spending time with his lovely wife and kids or helping someone in need.
